College football is back…And so are the Ducks

On my personal blog back in January, I wrote a post about the Oregon Ducks college football team being in the Rose Bowl (see below).

“While visiting my parents over the Christmas holiday, I found myself overly excited about the Rose Bowl party they were having. Oregon vs. Ohio State. With all but one person cheering for the Ducks, I found it hard not to join in the cheers. The Ducks didn’t end up winning, but we had a great time. (And my Oregon Ducks cupcakes were a huge hit!! (That’s not mustard, I promise.)”

Yesterday, my favorite college football team beat the New Mexico Lobos 72-0 in the first game of the season. Did you get that? ZERO!

Five touchdowns by Kenjon Barner. Two touchdowns by Cliff Harris. Two touchdowns by Darron Thomas. 506 total push ups by the Ducks mascot.

GO DUCKS!!

But, New Mexico is a team that was 1-11 last year and had the 113th ranked defense.Tennessee next week, might not be so easy.
