In Arizona:
- In Tucson, it is illegal for women to wear pants. (okay. no problem for me.)
- The only state that has an english only law in public schools. (i think i’m liking this state more and more every day.)
- In Glendale, it is illegal to drive a car in reverse. (if you’re driving your car in reverse, you’ve got bigger problems than breaking a traffic law.)
- A decree declares that anyone caught stealing soap, must wash himself with it until it is all used up. (good to know. i’ll make sure it’s a pleasant scent.)
- You could get up to 25 years in prison for cutting down a cactus. (that narrows down my search for houses.)
- If you commit a misdemeanor while wearing a red mask, it is considered a felony. (…so make sure it’s a black one.)
- It is illegal to take naked photographs before noon on Sunday. (no problem. i don’t get up before noon on sunday’s anyway.)
- In Nogales, an ordinance prohibits the wearing of suspenders. (i hope this doesn’t give people the impression that they can just let their pants droop. *shudder*)
