Game of Thrones. Do you watch?
This series came highly recommended by a number of people I consider to be fantastic judges of descent television. I bit the bullet and dove into episode one of the first season.
Wow. This show is amazing. Everything from the casting to the videography to the sound editing. Well done, Mr. Benioff and Mr. Weiss.
After taking some Tylenol PM to help me sleep last night, I fell asleep half way through episode seven. I will restart it tonight and continue through, what I think, is one of the best shows on HBO.
The violence is a little much for me at times. I’m sure I would understand the beheading of a man without having to actually WATCH it. And in an episode I watched last night, they cut off a HORSES HEAD!! Clean cut. Sliced right through with one swipe.
The sex scenes, I’ll be honest, have left me at times, wishing I wasn’t sitting there watching it alone. Some of them tastefully done. Some…..tough to watch.
If you watch it, what are YOUR thoughts about it?
I've watch parts of a couple episodes. Not enuff to really comment good or bad. I just didnt get into it. Maybe if I started with episode one and saw some in order.
ReplyDeleteIt was hard for me to get through the first few episodes because it was hard for me to follow. Names were confusing me. Not like they use normal names. Tyrion? What happened to Joe?
