Holy smokes, Batman! That’s a lot of firemen.

This morning was one of those morning. The kind of morning that forced me to drive to my favorite breakfast place, because THAT and THAT alone, was the only thing that was going to bring me out of the depressed state of mind I was in.

I’m missing someone. I’m missing someone A LOT.

I pulled into the parking lot and saw two fire trucks. Something I normally would pay much more attention to, seemed to be just a passing sight. I didn’t care. I parked, got out of my car, and said to myself as I walked in, “It’ll be okay. Just smile.”.

When I opened up the doors to step inside, I saw this…

Eight firemen standing in front of me in line. There were dozens several more who already got their food and were sitting down. It was a FULL HOUSE of YOUNG firemen. Whoa baby! Talk about instant … nevermind.

I stood at the entrance and took this picture. Another firemen standing behind me said, “What are you doing?” I looked at him as I put my phone back in my pocket and whispered, “I’m not passing up an opportunity to take a picture of all these hot firemen.” He smiled and said, “But I’m not in the picture.”

As I was walking out with my food, I smiled and said to myself, “See. It DID get better.”
