Random bullets

• Today is The X's birthday. I texted him as soon as I woke up. I think he appreciated the thought from me. Especially since most thoughts I've had of him over the years haven't been positive. :-P
• A friend goes in for surgery this week. I'm anxious for him, but know there is nothing I can do. He will ask closer friends and family to help with things, and I'm okay with that. Not being #1 in his life anymore is somewhat heartbreaking, but I get it. Understand has become my middle name. :-/
• I got a raise yesterday. It's a fairly small raise, but it's a raise nonetheless. Yay!
• Drinking Bud Light in the office after a stressful commercial shoot is awesome! I heart my job.
• BFF@work got a new regular daytime job. He will greatly be missed here at The Ranch. The two hours I'll see him every few days is gonna be hard to get used to, but I'm overly thrilled he's finally found something else. :-)
• I'm anxious for NASCAR season. Every year I say I'm going to have a big party at my house for the Daytona 500, but who am I kidding? I have TWO friends that like NASCAR, so maybe this year it'll be a small party. Maybe I'll just sit privately at my house and watch it alone. Who knows. I'm definitely entertaining the idea of going to the Fontana race. I'm gonna have to check out the schedule. I'm jonesing for some racing.
• I think this whole government regulating our internet thing is stupid. And I also think that man has brought this problem on himself.
• When I'm at work, I scroll my Mac mouse one way. When I get home, I always forget my PC is the other way. It sometimes causes confusion when what I'm reading suddenly scrolls the wrong way.
• I have the munchies real bad right now.
