Weird Laws - New Jersey

In New Jersey

  1. It is illegal to wear a bullet-proof vest while committing a murder.
  2. All motorists must honk before passing another car, bicyclist, skater, and even a skateboarder.
  3. You cannot pump your own gas.
  4. It is against the law for a man to knit during the fishing season.
  5. It is against the law to frown at a police officer.
  6. You may not slurp your soup.
  7. Automobiles are not to pass horse drawn carriages on the street.
  8. It is illegal to delay or detain a homing pigeon.
  9. In Trenton, it is illegal to throw a bad pickle in the street.

    I have driven and gotten gas in Jersey. It is weird to have someone pump your gas. It aint that tough of a skill to learn. But I bet they are really good at it. LOL

    Its prolly why NASCAR dont race In Jersey.

  3. My mom lives in Oregon, and when I visit, I always forget that I can't pump my own gas. I'm totally okay with staying inside my warm car on snowy days, but I still forget. I wish they'd make that law here in CA.
