…that when someone tells me “Maybe”, it more times than not, means “No”.
…not to get excited about anything, until you know for certain it’s going to happen.
…that I love less and less every day.
…that no matter what someone tells you, they will at some point, let you down.
…that even when they say “I understand” or “I accept you”, they don’t.
May you never have to experience these lessons first hand. They can be painful. Especially with an already fragile state of mind.
