April Photo-A-Day (Part 2)

Howdy!

Here’s the rest of April. (Click here to see the first half).

If you want to play along, download the Instagram app on your iPhone/iTouch/iPod. And I heard they now have it for the ‘droid. The app looks like this…

Here’s the second part of the month…

~ April ~

Day 16: flower - This flower hangs on the wall in the patio of the house I’ve been at for a few weeks. It’s a beautiful flower.

Day 17: Something you don’t like - Ew. This Sauerkraut is in her fridge. This is the perfect example of “ick”.

Day 18: Hair - This little guy (his name is Widget), just got his first haircut that day. He looked a bazillion times better. He’s going to be a superstar. :-)

day 19

Day 19: Orange - This is one of the cats at the ranch. There are several in this matching team, so I can’t tell them apart.

Day 20: Something you drew - This is my attempt at “fishing”. Stick People art is where it’s at.

day 21

Day 21: Bottle - This bottle sits on the shelf in her kitchen. There appears to be something appealing about it. I wonder what it is.

Day 22: The last thing you bought - Jack in the Box. I heart this place. I eat there at least one meal a day, five days a week. It’s gross, I know, but I’m not overweight, so I’m allowed. :-D

Day 23: Vegetable - Ewwww. This is in the freezer, and there’s no way in a thousand years you’d ever get me to eat this. Eww @ veggies.

Day 24: Something you’re grateful for - the relationship between RJ and I. It hasn’t been this good since he was four.

Day 25: Looking down - This is what I saw when I looked down into my glass.

Day 26: Black + White - Meet Bruce. He likes to wave.

Day 27: Somewhere you went - Didn’t do this because I was distracted by FUN company. And we didn’t leave the bedroom house.

Day 28: 1pm - At 1pm, I wasn’t looking at the clock. See day 27.  :-)

Day 29: circle - I saw LOTS of circles this day, but didn’t happen to capture photos of any of them. :-(

Day 30: Something that makes you sad - Meet Max. He’s an old Yellow Lab, who’s had a lot of good years in the business. He has several titles under him name, but when it comes to snakes, he’s just a big puppy. Curious about everything, I’m sure he snuck his nose into a hole, bush, or maybe even just bent down to smell it in the open air. Unfortunately for him, the rattlesnake didn’t happen to appreciate the invasion of his space.

Rattlesnake bites are a bummer, and sometimes dangerous,so until the swelling goes down, this guy looks unhappy.

That’s it, Readers! That’s all of April. But fear not, the game for May has already begun. Here’s the game board…

Go check it out. Play along. It’s fun to see what everyone’s interpretation of the day’s photo is. Try it.

April Photo-A-Day (part 1)

Hi Readers!

We completed March’s Photo-A-Day, and I promised I’d play along for April. I even talked Sis into playing along.

If you want to play along, download the Instagram app on your iPhone/iTouch/iPod. And I heard they now have it for the ‘droid. The app looks like this…

Here’s the first part of the month…

~ April ~

Day 1: Your reflection - Playing outside with the dogs, I caught a glimpse of myself.

Day 2: Color - My poppies at work are back. So excited!!

Day 3: Mail - This is where RM#1 puts my mail.

Day 4: Someone that makes you happy - Obviously, Kyle Busch makes me happy. :-)

Day 5: Tiny - This butterfly was tiny.

Day 6: Lunch - The Easter Bunny brought this to a coworkers house, who in turn, brought it to me. Yay for M&M’s and NASCAR! And the Easter Bunny. ;-)

Day 7: Shadow - Kasey’s shadow makes a wolf shape.

Day 8: Inside your wallet - The inside of my wallet is not exciting, I promise.

Day 9: Younger you - Yes, I shamelessly posted a photo of me from when I was a youngster.

Day 10: Cold - This icepack is freeeeeeeeeeezing!

**No photo for today. I ate at Jack In The Box that morning, but failed to get a photo of it. Apologies.**

Day 12: Stairs - These stairs are a work in progress. Eventually, there will be pretty landscape around them.

Day 13: Something you found - I found jeans that fit. So tired of wearing jeans that are too big or too worn out. Yes, that’s a size 2. Don’t hate.

Day 14: How you feel today - I felt kind of empty headed. It was a weekend day, so didn’t have anything to focus on. Other than relaxing and taking a nap.

Day 15: Sunset - Sunset was at 7:27p that day. :-)

March Photo-A-Day (part 2)

Here is the second half of March’s game. To see the first part, click ----> here <----

If you want to play along, download the Instagram app on your iPhone/iTouch/iPod. The app looks like this…

Let’s start where we left off…

Day 15:  This is JK’s car. My favorite car. One I have surely missed over the last year.

Day 16: My sunglasses got to see some amazing things when they were in Vegas for the race a few weekends ago.

Day 17: I had to get down low to take pictures of this short legged guy. He SERIOUSly looks good in this green grass.

Day 18: This bookshelf sits in the corner of our guest bedroom. RM#1 has read all of these. I’ve read none.

Day 19: This funny little Great Horned Owl was four weeks old when I took this. Funny little guy.

Day 21: I couldn’t pass these up.

Day 22: RM#1 is very OCD about EVERYTHING. Including the kitchen sink. The faucet MUST MUST MUST line up directly with the center of the sink. AT.ALL.TIMES. *sigh*

Day 24: This little guy and his sister were back for another round of that TV show everyone seems to be so hooked on.

Day 25: This was my breakfast one morning. Don’t judge. Sometimes bacon and eggs just don’t sound good.

Day 26: My house key. This was given to me the same day I moved in with RM#1. Of course, NASCAR. Would I have anything else?

Day 27: This planner is amazing. I got it here. Check it out. My entire life is documented inside these pages.

Day 28: Sometimes, when you’re shooting a commercial with puppies, things get thrown out by mistake. And when that happens, someone has to dig through the trash to find them.

Day 29: Sis says this doesn’t look like my feet, but it is. Lovin’ this polish color.

Day 30: This is one of my favorite toys. It’s not my MOST favorite toy, cause it would be wrong to post a photo of THAT (wink, wink), so this is the next best thing. It has provided me with some amazing photos. I miss playing with it. Wish I had one of my own.

That’s it, folks. An entire month completed.

Y’all ready for April? It started today. Go check it out. Play along.

March Photo-A-Day

I did not participate in February, and knowing my track record, figured I wouldn’t participate in March either, but something made me do it. Something talked me into giving it a try. I’m still doing the 365, but doing the monthly photo-a-day gives me something a little different. A definite theme for the day. With the 365 photos, you’re pretty much free to do whatever you want with it. No limits.

If you want to play along, download the Instagram app on your iPhone/iTouch/iPod. The app looks like this…

Here’s what we’ve got so far this month (minus a few days I was not paying attention, sorry)

Day 1: We had this slide at the ranch for a few days while prepping for a new commercial.

Day 2: Not always, but sometimes I eat a little bit more healthy.

Day 3: The view…

Day 4: Must always have the electric blanket on. Always.

Day 5: My attempt at a smile amid some uncomfortable pain while driving.

Day 6: Sportin’ the NASCAR sweatshirt - ‘cause that’s how I roll.

Day 12: Our drawer of forks. Some people have reservations about me using a fork after that whole ex husband thing, but it’s been almost seven years. It’s time to move on. :-)

Day 13: This sign was bought for me by a friend. I wonder what they were trying to say.

Day 14: There are no clouds in the sky that I stare up at. It’s a beautiful, clear, sunny day here in SoCal. However, we are supposed to have rain this weekend.

Well, that’s all I’ve got half way through the month. If you don’t play along, you’ll have to wait until the end of the month to see the rest.

Until next time…
