This week in NASCAR…

Camping World Truck Series: Ron Hornaday gets the pole at Talladega. Then, with three laps to go, he’s bumped by a competitor. His truck flipped over a few times. Rescue crews had to turn it back onto its side so he could get out. He then walked away, smiling. I, was in tears. I remember watching him race at my hometown track when I was a kid. He was the local favorite, and the one everyone cheered for. On a MUCH happier note, Kyle Busch makes an incredible move to win by 2 thousandths of a second. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

Nationwide Series: No race this week.

Sprint Cup Series: Juan Pablo Montoya gets the pole at Talladega. It took the replays and scoring loops to determine Clint Bowyer had beaten Kevin Harvick after A.J. Allmendinger flipped following the white flag, ending the race. Kyle finished a disappointing 28th.

Next week: Texas     Winner prediction: Jimmie Johnson or Kyle Busch
