Taking pictures. It’s one of my favorite things to do. Sometimes I capture a great photo and get excited. Sometimes, I don’t and delete all the pictures I take.

A few months ago, I talked Jeffy into letting me borrow his Nikon camera. Nice guy, eh? Yeah, I think so too.  ;-)

The long lens allows me to take some great photos from farther away….

…cause we all know this little bird would have flown away had I actually been that close. Instead, I had to be behind the screen of my patio door.

And this little guy….

…would have never let me stand there and take his picture with a regular camera.

 

RJ. An official high school student. Wow. Where does the time go? Took him for a day at the beach. We ate steamers and clam chowder. ‘Twas exactly what RJ needed.

This….is my new favorite photo of SS.

I don’t know how long I’ll be allowed to hold onto and play with this camera, so I’m playing with it every day. I suppose I keep hoping I’ll capture that winning photo. That one photo that is better than all others.

Off I go, to keep trying.

This is the picture I showed to the lady that was doing my nails. I had to go on a day my normal girl wasn’t there. This was a mistake. Telling this person “lower case m in white. you know, like an m&m.” proved to be much harder than I ever thought it would be.

 

Here what I got…

O.M.G. What part of THIS looks like the picture I showed her? The colors are fine, but the “m’s”? Oh, brother. I was so annoyed, that I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. I did not tip her. In fact, I reluctantly paid her the actual amount I owed. Ugh.

 

Found this fellow. I do not know where he went when I drove away. :-/

How freakin’ adorable is this cute little space?

While eating lunch, this newly wed couple came in for a quick drink. With nobody else around to see the first moments of them as husband and wife, we captured the moment.
