iVal case

It’s been almost two weeks since I’ve gotten the iVal, and I suppose it’s safe to say that I’m fairly comfortable with it.

One of the kennel people at work overheard me saying I hadn’t gotten a case for it yet, so she came to me and said, I’ll make you one. Um, okay. What the heck was I supposed to say?

The next day, she showed up with this…

Y’all, I can’t begin to explain to you what my reaction was. I looked at her, with eyes that I’m sure had the devil inside, and said, WHAT?? Are you kidding me?

She said, I even used a sandwich bag for the cover so you can still use the screen.

ARE YOU FREAKIN’ KIDDING ME? DOES SHE REALLY THINK I’M GOING TO USE A DUCT TAPE IPHONE CASE? REALLY??

I immediately stuck it into my desk drawer, where it sat for several days. It has become a funny running joke around The Ranch, that I have the coolest iPhone cover of anyone, and EVERYONE wants to order their own.

You’re jealous, don’t lie.

I think this thing might find it’s way, accidentally, into the trash. Yep. It just might. (rolling eyes)

I caved. Don’t judge.

Here it is, y’all.

Yep. I did it. I caved and bought an iPhone. My iThingy was great. I spent much more time on it than I did my regular phone (mostly because the internet on my phone wasn’t “G”), so figured I’d go ahead and add them together. I got tired of carrying around a phone and an iThingy.

I changed service providers and changed phone numbers. Fresh start. I’m excited. Nervous, but excited.

I haven’t gotten a case for it yet. I ordered one from Amazon, but it hasn’t arrived yet. Can’t wait to get it so I can stop worrying about breaking it. I’ve already dropped it once, on it’s face. I wanted to scream. Then I realized it didn’t have a scratch on it, so vowed to be more careful until the case arrives.

Are there any apps that I need to know about? Anything YOU can recommend?
