The Daytona 500

Another Daytona 500 is in the books, and whether or not you agree with how it ended, it played out in great racing fashion.

From the drop of the green flag, to the waving of the checkered flag, every driver held their throttle wide open and drove their hearts out.

I am not a fan of Austin Dillon. Not one bit. I wouldn’t cheer for him if he was driving the 18. He’s not a great driver, and can only win races by wrecking someone else. However, because he’s the grandson of Richard Childress, he carries around a silver spoon and everyone bows down to him like he’s some sort of god. Please, people. He’s not. He’s an idiot who’s had everything handed to him. He doesn’t work for anything. Typical Millenial.

I was absolutely shocked to see how well Aric Almirola and Darrell Wallace Jr ran. Aric was a mediocre driver when he was in the 43, but some kind of amazing transformation happened during the off-season, and I’m super excited to see how the rest of the year plays out for the new driver of the #10 car. He certainly can’t do any worse than Danica. She was just an embarrasement to that team.

Disappointing day for Kyle Busch. Goodyear tires just don’t seem to agree with him.

…on to Atlanta.
