Some people like to make things out of metal. Some plastic. SS’s dad, loves to make things out of wood.
So, what started out as Padauk maple wood – (a bright orange or almost crimson wood when freshly cut, but oxidizes to a darker, rich purple-brown over time), and a Redheart maple wood – (freshly surfaced Redheart can be a very bright, watermelon red—though color can vary in intensity and hue from board to board: anywhere from a light orange/pink, (similar to Pink Ivory), to a darker brownish red)…..
…….ended up looking like this…..
Now, I just need to find a place to put it, and something to put inside of it.
Any ideas??
