This song ran through my apartment in Waco on repeat so many times, I’m sure even the old couple that lived below us, knew the words.

The Cast of My Story

Often there are times when I talk about other people besides just me. Here's a bit about who they are...

SS - Husband. Hard worker. Fixer of broken things. Muscle car fanatic. Motorcycle maniac. And my best friend.

RJ - My boy. A video game loving 22-year old who is learning to navigate the world on his own.

Sis - My only sibling. Dodger fan. Packer fan. Lover of books on tape, movies, beer, and pizza.

Squid - Bro-in-law. He's the sports nut in the family and could go head to head with anyone. Anyone would lose. Hands down.

Lil' SS - My bonus daughter. An 18-year-old who is trying to figure out who she is.

Mother - The woman who raised me. The woman who gave me everything I ever needed. The woman who sacrificed so much.

Father - The man who helped create me, not the man who raised me. We haven't spoke in years.

Stepdad - The man who raised me. The man who didn't want to fight Cancer.
