Since I was little, I’ve had a fascination with the ocean. I can remember going to the beach as a kid, and swimming out as far as I could before my parents called me back. I remember taking a bath as a kid, and pretending the washcloth was a shark about to bite my sister. I remember jumping into my dads pool, pretending to swim away from the sharks that were at the bottom of the dark deep end.
As I grew up, my fascination grew and my desire to swim with the sharks grew, too. I’ve met people over the years that have swam with the sharks, and although I can’t imagine my anxiety allowing me to doing so, I think the experience of being in a cage, deep down in the ocean, with a shark staring me in the face, would be just the adrenaline rush I need.
SWIMMING WITH SHARKS - I read this article and watched the video this morning and instantly thought, oh my gosh, that’s sooo cool. I don’t know that I would go down without a cage of some sort, but if ever given the chance to dive deep into the waters of a not-so-friendly shark, you better believe I’ll do it. No matter if I came out alive to tell the story or not, it’s definitely something that has been put on my Bucket List.
